San Juan Neighborhood
Cadiz, Old Town
San Juan is a neighborhood of the historic center of the city of Cádiz, Spain. It is located in the northwestern corner of the city, along the Malecon del Campo del Sur, between the Pópulo neighborhood, to the east, and the La Viña neighborhood, to the west.
Formerly known as the Santiago suburb, the area had a great importance for the city during the Middle Ages, because it was the small port, disappeared in the eighteenth century with the construction of defensive walls.
